AK to AKL?

How much time should I give myself to get from AK to AKL after the parade, by bus. I'm trying to figure out timing for a PS.

Once you leave the front exit of the AK and are at the bus stop, it could be anywhere from10 -40 minutes by the time you get back to the AKL. It will depend on how many others are waiting for the bus after the parade and if they have the rigth amount of busses available. Every trip I have gone on there is always one time where I end up waiting a long time for a bus, no matter which resort I am staying at. I would allow some time to get back to the room and freshen up a bit so gice yourself an hour.

I was wondering exactly the same thing - we also have a ps at AKL. I don't suppose you can walk between Ak and AKL??

BTW dahirsh, when you go back to ASMo, I would get a cab rather than mess around with the buses, as you would have to go via another park/DTD depending on the time. AKL is so close to ASMo and a cab is pretty inexpensive.

I'd suggest the same thing. AK is literally right around the corner, though not really walkable. It's maybe a mile and a half. Probably cost $4-5 for a cab.

Right now, my plan is to see the parade at AK (never stayed for the parade before) bus to AKL, dinner at Boma then bus to DD for some shopping. If I decide to skip DD, I will definately take the advice from here and a cab back to ASM.

The AK parade is always at 4, right? Where should I watch the parade from? and what time is the earliest I should make a PS for at Boma?

Why don't you make your PS for 6:15/6:30 and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the parade and a few rides after at AK, then plenty of time to get to AKL. And if you get there early, there is lots to see at the lodge prior to your dinner. They have story time at 6:00 p.m. at the firepit, so you may want to allow time for that and check it out.

hi,
i have done this twice now, both times i watched the parade at a spot fairly close to the exits. i made a ps for 5:30 at boma and had no problem getting there on time. i made it by 5:00 the first trip and 5:15 the second. the busses come often this time of day because many people leave after the 4:00 parade especially when the park closes at 5:00. i noticed that boma got a lot more crowded after 6:00 and a lot more people were in the waiting area when we were leaving than when we arrived, so was glad we had an earlier seating.
