AK savannah view: Jambo house or Kidani village

Which one would you choose and why? It's only for 1 night.

i'd say go for jambo, all the main amenities are in the main building, but not all are in kidani, eg: kidani has no quick service restaurant.

I agree - for one night I would stay near the action in Jambo, I am trying Kidani for the first time at Christmas, but am planning a quiet stay in a 1 bed with a kitchen, so we won't need to be close to the CS of Jambo, but if we were in a studio, we would probably go for Jambo.

We have stayed at both Jambo and Kidani and you can't go wrong with either.

Both have nice restaurants, Boma at Jambo is buffet style and one of my favs, whereas Sanna is a la carte. The pool area is much nicer at Kidani and no counter service, although the pool bar did do food when we last stayed.

Jambo has a much busier feel about it than Kidani although when we stayed Kidani had only been open 3 weeks and only 60% of the rooms were operational.
The shop at Jambo is really nice and far bigger than that at Kidani.

We have stayed several times at Jambo and loved it.

Though I would say it wouldnt matter which one as you can walk between them for dinner or just for a walkaround. It is about a 10 minute walk between them though.

The entrance in Jambo is pretty spectacular when you first walk in

I think Jambo House may be the better option for 1 night for us. I like the idea of checking in there in the big lobby. And the facilities.
However, the pool at Kidani Village does look better and I do think we'll be spending part of the day by the pool.

I'd vote for Jambo.

We stayed there recently and had a walk over to Kidani, while it really is gorgeous and the rooms are newer, we much preferred the layout and amenities at Jambo so I think we'd always choose there.
