AK Safari

Just long enough for you to wish they'd just get Big Red already.

:goodvibes 20 to 25 minutes depending on how often you have to slow down, I think it is.

We have had rides from 20 minutes up to 40 minutes before. The 40 minutes was a busy day and we had to wait for the string of trucks to keep moving. Then an animal got in the road and stayed there for a while.

Its A good ride i suggest doing it early in the moring. The animals seem more active.

We do the safari every time we make a trip to Disney. The one thing that everyone likes about it is that it is never the same experience as the last time. The average safari averages about 20 minutes. However, on one trip it was over 45 minutes because a rhino was on the road and would not move even with the luring of food. Then, we had a trip that a giraffe almost stuck his head completely inside the car. Scary!! We had one trip that we saw only a few animals. I quess they were all on vacation that trip.

When the park first opened a safari guide gave us this tip. Go first thing in the morning since the animals are up and moving around or wait and go about 1/2 hour before the park closes. We have had better luck going right before the park closes esp since there is very little of a wait. Have Fun and ENjoy your trip!
