hello
If we rd and go straight to everest, is fastest way via Dinoland or cross towards Yak and yeti?

Assuming everyone at RD is mostly going to Pandora, how long should it take us to walk to Everest?

Would it be realistic to think we could walk on Everest with no wait for 2 rides or just 1?

(This is Jan 2nd, and we need to meet family around 930 at Safari)

I asked this the other day Bc it's our plan next Thursday. I was told we would get up to the point of the trading post store whenever they open the park for Pandora people. So that's a jump start if you get there early enough! I think there is a map that shows you the paths to take.

1. Route via Asia ("Yak & Yeti") will get you to the entrance line (once it starts forming) of EE faster.
Route via Dinoland will get you to the exit of EE faster.
2. 5-7 min.
3. 2 or 3 rides.

I'm a newbie and have never been before so I'm not sure what's "normal!" Im just happy to be let in earlier than 9 and to be able to separate from the RD crowds.

We were at RD last Sunday (10/22). It was crazy how many people were heading toward Pandora. The crowd waiting at the rope for Everest was very small in comparison. We sent the kids ahead when they opened, and they were able to speed walk (they took the route past Yak and Yeti) to the ride and get on the first train of the day. They rode 7 times in a row before the wait time exceeded 15 min. It was walk on for the first 3-4 rides.

We typically do this once every trip, since the kids love to ride EE as many times as possible. ;)

Sounds like the kids had fun!
If I tried that, I'd be out of commission for the rest of the day! LOL.

1. Figure 10-15 min., depending.
2. Sorta. The "normal" rope drop area has changed, and was changed back, and then changed again, and may be changed again, and again, and again...

Since it's Jan 2 the crowds will be heavier, but when we went last February we walked on twice easily and sure we could've a few more times with little to no wait. We went via Asia. We then waked to the Safari and walked right on that.

This is our plan for March. We want to ride EE at least two times and then head over to the safari for a morning ride with little wait.

We have people at breakfast and we are planning on meeting them 930. Hopefully thats enough time for 1 or 2 everest and walking to safari!

When we power walk to EE we always head to Dinoland direction, then pass the Asiabridge, and walk by the lake to EE, we usually do 3 to 4 times with no wait. You can do some more I think with minimal wait, but I have enough with 4 rides. Have fun.
