What time does the AK Rainforest Cafe usually close compared to AKs closing time?

We’re thinking about doing AK New Year’s Eve and want somewhere convenient to go for dinner with my kids after the park closes (around 8?). We don’t want to deal with Disney Springs crowds and are staying at the All stars.

The last seating is 30 minutes after the park closes. AK normally closes at a normal time on NYE, 6 or 7 pm.

Are you going to hang out elsewhere after Rainforest Cafe or are you going to succumb to Ryan Seacrest and his cheesy New Year’s special on WFTV? Remember to also plan ahead after dinner… it’s gonna be a zoo at night.

The busses all run about an hour after park close, but for AK, they usually run a little longer than that, specifically because of Rainforest Cafe. I've gotten out of Rainforest nearly 2 hours after park close - checked with a cast member near the entrance to be sure, and even though the entire bus stop was empty, a bus still came. What they'll often do is when there are a handful of stragglers, one bus will pick all of them up and make multiple resort stops...or in my case where we were just a party of 2, rather than go to our resort, it dropped us at Disney Springs and we transferred to our resort bus. I was fine with that since we were very late - I was just happy they would still make accommodations for us on free transportation, and not having to book an Uber, Cab, or Minnie van.

My kids dig the cheesy TV stuff. We’ll probably see what’s going on at the resort and be in our room with PJs on for the ball drop.

We *may* do Epic Universe New Year’s Day and don’t want to be up too late.
