Can anyone explain to me the difference between value accommodations and standard view at AK?

Also, I was wondering if the different types of rooms are near each other or are the room types segregated? All of the grand villas are full during our trip, so I'm thinking about getting a 2 bedroom unit and a studio, and was wondering if there is any chance that they might be near each other. If they could be close by, do they need to be the same level? For instance would there be standard view and savannah view across the hall from each other?

Thanks for the help!

Value rooms are smaller in size (3 feet shorter in length I believe). All values are located in Jambo house on the 2 shorter trails at the front of the resort (giraffe & Ostrich Trails). They can be parking lot, pool or savanna views.

Your 2 bedroom and studio could be located close to one another. You can request this, but Disney won't guarantee it. (believe me, I had to listen to an obnoxious lady rant about this at SSR last week. I wanted to just slap her & tell her to shut up already. ;)).

You could possibly have a savanna view room & a standard view room near one another...they would be on opposite sides of the hallway. At Jambo House a standard view room is a pool view room. At Kidani standard could end up being a parking lot view. (BTW, we just had a parking lot view at Kidani last week & didn't really mind it at all).
