AK Questions - Rafiki and Wilderness Explorers

My kids are 8, 5, and 1.5 We are annual visitors, but have never gone over to Rafiki's Planet Watch

1. Would you recommend Rafiki's? If we go it would be pretty early (by 10:00), as we are getting there for extra magic hours. How much time does it take round trip, if we spend an average amount of time on the other end? Our Everest FP window starts at 10:35 and need time to ride twice (I ride with 8yo and then husband rides with 5yo)

2. Wilderness Explorers - I think my kids will love this. Are the booths open during EMH? If not, can we pick up a booklet from anywhere? Or do we need to backtrack to Discovery Island to pick them up.

I don't know if WE is open during EMH (I don't think so but we're usually speeding by the main location so I didn't specifically look). You CAN get a booklet from any WE station (so you don't need to backtrack). There are a few WE stations out at Rafiki's .
