AK Plan of Attack

...Have the wait times for K safari gone down considerably since the opeing of EE?? I know it used to have pretty horrific wait times and was wondering (from those of you that have been recently) if it is reasonable to wait in the stand by line now that EE is such a huge draw!

The crowds are pretty evenly SPLIT at opening, with different sets of CMs (most mornings) who lead guests to either way they are headed (KS or EE).

So with that in mind, you could choose to go either direction first-thing, then walk to the other next (I like EE first, Safari next).

i was there in august. we went right to EE at opeining. the ride was down for technical difficutities. they were trying to shoe everyone away who was waiting for it to re-open saying taht it would be awhile. my family and i waited and at about 930 it was open. totally worth the wait bc we got on the first train. also while we were waiting one person from our party went and got fass passes that were for 945 so we got to ride it twice right in a row. it was awesome. anyway the point of my story....we headed over to kali right afterwards it was aroudn 10ish usually a busy time but we barely waitied 5 min to get on. it was fun! if you get at AK early in the mornign you can typically get the entire park done in just a few hours if you don't want to see the shows. and that includes riding everything. by a few hours i mean 3-4

We went to do Kilminjaro and it was a 80 minute wait at 11 in the morning but in the afternoon it was 60.
