AK--Nemo or Lion King?

Another vote for The Lion King. I really wasn't all that impressed with Nemo. I kept looking at my watch during the whole thing if that is any indication. The Lion King is spectacular!

Lion King is great!! When we were there in March we did both shows in the same day. Nemo is good, but not something that we talk about much still, but the kids still talk about how neat Lion King was and they are 12, 9 and 21 mo. I have picts, but dont know how to post them If you can Ide do both, if not Lion King!

I guess it depends on what you consider "better".

The FOTLK is a show performed in a theater-in-the-round. It is not a retelling of the Lion King story, but a singing, dancing and acrobatic extravaganza using the music from the show. There is also an element of audience participation, and none of the seats are very far from the action.

On the other hand, the Nemo show is a "standard" type stage show, that retells the Finding Nemo story. The whole show is broadway caliber as far as the set and acting, it just has a completely different feel from the Lion King one.

I've only seen Nemo via YouTube, but I'm going with FOTLK, too!! I LOVE it!!!!

One of my friend's best friend is Crush and sometimes Marlin, so I guess we'll make sure to see Nemo this time.

I really didn't care for NEMO, even with the great puppetry, I found the show itself kind of boring.

We love both shows my only issue is the FOTLK show has not changed since we first saw it back in 2003. Even the in show jokes are the same. A little new material would freshen up the experience for us.

We haven't seen either show yet, however when we are there in December, we are planning on going to see FOTLK and I am very excited about it. My girls both saw the Nemo show on one of the Travel Channel specials and said that they want to see that show as well, so depending on time, we may see that one as well.

lion king. keeps me absorbed the whole show. nemo is good but i find myself looking at my watch about 30 mins or so.

It seems to be easier to get into Lion King than Nemo, but maybe that's just when we were there. We did do both, but had to wait MUCH longer to get into Nemo.

Isn't that because FOTLK is offered more frequently?

I think it's like comparing apples and antelope. On the one hand, you have a neat little show that's a good quality for a theme park but not nearly as good as Cirque, where it seems to seek its inspiration. That's FOTLK. On the other, you've got a broadway calibre musical with some of the coolest puppetry I've ever seen that I would gladly pay a seperate admission price to see! That's FN. I guess you can tell which is my favourite.
