We are 1st time WDWer's trying to set up a very basic plan of where we want to go on the days that we will be at WDW.

Has anyone tried doing AK (EE) in the am and then doing MGM in the evening??

I have planned a full day at both MK(non EE) and Epcot (EE)(except for afternoon break).

Does this sound reasonable or do we need to make some changes???

Thanks for the help.

I am suggesting to my family (after I spring the surprise trip on them!):), that we burn the candle at both ends our first day. I have three boys 12,10,9.

I want to try to do early entry AK(I know you don't really need to, but it should be slightly cooler) untill about 11:00am or so. Then we head back to the Poly for rest/swim untill 6:00pm ish. Then after a nice meal, we go to E-night at the MK.(whew)

I can't see why you can't hit AK and MGM in a day. Just the travel time alone will be a decent amount of rest. The only thing about the studios is the timing of shows, etc. Make good use of fastpass.

Good Luck,
cortegro

We did this in December and it worked so well that we plan to again in 2 1/2 weeks(but whos counting?). We get to AK for opening at 8:00 and we stay until about 12:30-1:00. Then we head back to our resort for a midday break(in December we didnt swim, but this trip we will), wash up, then go to MGM. We booked the FDP so we will eat at Mama Melrose, hopefully get a couple attractions done, then end the night with Fantasmic.

Valera,

AllEarsNet.com will be running a story in the next few days that has that exact touring plan in it. We developed it for the 2005 Unofficial Guide, and I helped with the story. It's certainly doable.

Sincerely,

Len Testa

Oh, thank you everyone for your response. I was concerned about trying to do too much on one day. We've never been to either of those parks and wanted to plan enough time.

We only have 3 possibly 4 full days to enjoy the parks and I know we want to spend one day at both MK and Epcot. So that leaves us trying to fit in the others arround that .

Thank you!
