AK Lodge/can we request coffee maker and fridge in room??

I know AK lodge doesn't provide coffee makers in the rooms, but is it possible to request one and a refrigerater?? why wouldn't they have a coffee maker?? thanks

We just returned from AKL. We requested a coffee maker which was delivered promptly, and there happened to be a fridge in our particular room as well, but we didn't request it nor were we charged for it.

We just returned from the AKL. There is no coffee maker in the room but if you call housekeeping they will deliver a 4 cup size one with the first day's supply of coffee, sugar and creamer. After that it's up to you to either buy coffee supplies from the gift shop or, a much cheaper option, from a grocery store on your way to the resort. Refrigerators are available, they usually cost $10.65 per day. Occasionally one will already be in your room and you won't be charged, but I wouldn't count on it. The refrigerators are the cube shaped "dorm" refrigerators and hold a decent amount of food and drinks. We were really glad to have it in the room. And we got no funny looks when checking in with our grocery bags from Publix.
