AK go on rides during ROL

I was just at Animal Kingdom last night and the park was empty during Rivers of Light. It was awesome! We have fastpasses another day so it's ok that we didn't see the show. We went on Kali River Rapids 3x in a row without getting off because there was no one in line. Expedition Everest was the same I think, we skipped it. It was like a ghost town everywhere. I just wanted to highly recommend going on rides during the show.

We are planning to do the same thing on our upcoming trip in June. We have a ROL dining package at Tusker House for breakfast one day and the other day we are planning on do some rides during ROL. I'm so glad to hear that this worked well for you. I'm actually most excited to just walk around the park when there aren't larger crowds. I'm sure the park will be more crowded in general in June when we are there but hopefully it will still be noticeably less crowded during ROL.
