I am trying to decide if I should get a fp for Safari or Dinosaur. I could go to Safari first thing and get Dinosaur for later in day or I could get safari for 9:30-10ish and try to walk on Dinosaur later in day. Plan to get FP for 11 FOLK and later in afternoon for Nemo either 3 or 4. I am going Feb 27 so I can book tomorrow nit at 11pm

Advice anyone?

What time are you planning on getting to the park? Dinosaur will be a walk on at park opening.

Since you want to do FotLK at 11, then I'd schedule a Safari FP right before that. That means RD Dinosaur and maybe do a couple other attractions before heading to KS.

If you are going to park hop you could FP+ the next park. If you are skipping EE and KRR and not going to another park then FP+ Dinosaur is a decent choice.

I am not planning to do EE or Kali. I don't do roller coasters and I don't want to get wet. I do want to see flights of wonder. Also want to just walk around and enjoy the scenery. Hope to find Divine too. I am leaning toward rope drop safari and get dinosaur as a FP in the afternoon. I have a 1pm ADR at Tusker House

So basically Africa in the AM, Lunch, then Asia and Dinoland in the PM. Sounds like a nice, relaxed plan to me. :thumbsup2

I say go straight to the safari and then Dinosaur. Save your fps for another park later in the day. IMO, you don't need fast passes at AK if you're going for rope drop. Christmas week we were able to do EE 3x, Primevil Whirl, Dinosaur and the safari before the crowds came. By the time we got to the safari, it was still only a 10 min wait (about an hour after park opening.)

We always get there before rope drop then power walk to the safari. Line is usually almost walk on. May look long but they sometimes hold you at the entrance to the line.

Then head for the Dino area, like pp have said dinosaur is usually walk on for a while.

But do safari first, there is a huge difference in the amount of animals out and about at RD verse an hour or so later.

Our camera batteries died at the beginning of the safari so we stopped at a gift shop after and then got back in line and rode again. I was really surprised and how many less animals there were.
