I'm trying to decide on FPs for our day at Animal Kingdom. Of course there are none available for the Pandora attractions, and I've gotten them for Safari, Expedition Everest (for those who can ride) and Mickey characters (for those who can't ride EE). I can't decide on the third FP. Do you really need one for the shows (Festival of the Lion King or Nemo)? My party is 5 adults and 2 kids (2 and 5), and we'll be there the week before Christmas, so a busy time.

You really don't need for shows, the only time I like them is the hotter months so we don't have to be outside in the heat too long. If you are interested in riding Dinosaur I would get it for that. But if not, I would likely pick Lion King for the FP+ and do SB for Nemo.

If you plan to do Rivers of Light, FP for it would probably be more useful than for Lion King or Nemo.

1. Make FP+ reservation.

2. Arrive at FP+ entrance 40-45 min. before the scheduled START TIME of the show.

(Ignore the FP+ Return Time listed.)

3. When they open the FP+ line, get in it and wait.

(You will be lined up outside the closed doors of the theater.)

4. They will open the doors to FP+ guests 10-15 min. before the scheduled START TIME of the show.

5. Go inside and, when allowed, choose your preferred seats.

(Best, either on the row directly behind the sound and lighting control booth,

-or- in seats adjacent to the center runway of the stage 1-5 rows in FRONT of the sound and lighting control booth.)

Do not sit in one of the front 2-3 rows in front of the main stage. (Stage is too tall and views will be blocked.)

6. They will then open the doors to standby guests who will fill the remaining seats.



If you wait to enter the FP+ line until closer to show-time, you will be (basically) the "first of the standby guests" (as they would be just behind you) as opposed to being the "first of the FP guests."
