AK fast pass question

We are a huge UP fan family. We'd love to see the show during our July trip. How crowded is it? Is it worth replacing our safari fast pass with? We did get the coveted FOP already, thankfully!

No, do not replace your Safari FP with UP.

You will get into the show just fine.

I don't think it's worth it. There's a lot of seating for the bird show and multiple shows during the day. And the Safari line can get long pretty fast. Stick with the Safari FP and check your park guide for the UP showtimes.

We just returned from our trip a few days ago. We got to the Up show about 5 minutes before it started (we had 11 people) and there was plenty of seating available- you won’t have a problem.

Look at Youtube, you can see videos of it. Hopefully, they are improving it as first reviews have not been good.
I would not replace a FP to anything with one for this show.
Everytime that I have walked by the previous version, when the show was going, there were plenty of open seats. doubt this is much different. But, if you want to see it, show up 15 minutes before to be sure to get a seat (although I doubt that will be a huge problem).

The show was pretty bad when we went earlier this month. Supposedly they have made some changes since then to improve the show.

Tim Tracker just did a new AK video and saw the show. He said it seems they have made some improvements in his opinion. So changes are happening, but it still seemed pretty boring to me.

Thanks for the advice! This is what we figured, but I know how crazy busy all *new* things get for Disney so felt it was worth an ask. Sounds like it might be worth doing once. Hopefully they are improving it. I didn't want to look on You Tube because I didn't want spoilers, lol.
