AK Fab Five Pins

Anyone heard that WDW is releasing some Fab Five Pins sometime in APRIL for Animal Kingdom. I've heard from a friend who wants me to look for a set while I'm there next week.

I'd appreciate any info I could get.

Your friend may be thinking of the pins being released at the Pin-O-Rama at the AK next weekend. At the event on Saturday, April 13, attendees will get a map and the "completer pin" with Mickey. The next day the core pins with Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy will be sold at various locations throughout the park. Not sure if the Mickey will be sold separately, though.

Dizneypins reports that there will be 5 Open Edition pins released sometime in April 2002. One each of Mickey with a giraffe, Donald with a toucan, Minnie with a very large toucan, Goofy with a monkey & Pluto with and elephant, each character over the words Animal Kingdom. These pins are not the pins that will be released for the Animal Kingdom Pin Event.
