So 5 of us traveling, arriving at MCO around 1. Party includes me, dh, dd1(14), dd2(11), ds(6). Planning on AK evening with pre-booked fast passes. Plan to arrive at park by 5, maybe earlier. No ADR will eat at condo before hitting the park (WBC).

Forgot to mention, arrival day is July 31, so my FP booking day is June 1!! :rolleyes1

K. Safari w/ FP+ 5-6 window
Explore Gorilla trails before or after KS.
FOLK at 6. - Do I need a FP here?
Explore Discovery Island Trails on way to Pandora
FOP w/ FP+ - 7-8 window
Maybe NRJ standby depending on wait
Explore Pandora
Either head back or ROL with FP if not used for FOLK

Next morning will be rope drop at MK.

I am especially interested to know if I need a FP at FOLK for the second to last show of the day and also what time do I need to arrive ahead of the show for both FP and no FP.

Also any other evening entertainment at AK that is great to catch on a relaxing arrival evening?

Was originally planning NRJ for my tier 1 FP because I am pretty sure DS won't be ready to ride FOP but I am afraid we won't be able to get a FP for later in our trip and FOP definitely sounds like the harder FP to get. Then we can do NRJ on our other AK day.

Thanks,

Kate

Because WBC is an offsite resort, your FP+ booking window actually opens on July 1st, and then only for the first day of your stay. On July 2nd, you'll be able to book FP+ for August 1st, etc. Offsite reservations are done on a 30-day rolling basis.

I know this, but I booked a campsite for a single night so my FP+ booking does start on June 1. Thanks for the heads up though.

Anyone any help with my AK questions or plan?

no need for FP for FOTLK, but with FP you get a choice of better viewing areas. We did FOTLK in the middle of the day last Aug. without FP and were seated upper tier and did not have an option to move. With FP over spring break, we could walk and sit anywhere. I would not "waste" a FP on FOTLK. Arrive 30 minutes before the show. Per my prior post, Safari is likely to be a walk on at 8pm+, in case you decide to ride again. Elaine
