We will be going to AK on a Monday with my kids, 2 and 5, and my parents, who are not into thrill rides. It will be a EMH with 9:00 park opening (not EEMH)
Aside from Navi and triceratops spin (and possibly safari if it’s open but I understand this varies...), there isn’t much we want to do during EMH. However it would be nice to explore / take pictures before the rest of the crowd gets there!
My plan was to walk to Pandora and do Na’vi (hopefully with little wait), explore Pandora and take pictures, then have Photopass photos taken in front of the tree of life before lining up for character outpost to make it in time for our 9:00FP for Safari and then see the 10:00 FOTLK Show
My questions are: if we arrive at the park around 7:45, will we have a huge line for security that will prevent us from going to Navi before the FOP crowd gets there? (I am not willing to wait more than 15-20 min) should we get there earlier?
And are there photopass photographers at that time?
Is there usually a line for Mickey and Minnie at rope drop?
Never been to AK so this is all new to me!
Thanks!
