AK characters

AK opens at 8 am the day we are planning to visit. We are staying at GF and are tying to make it there for 8/830. Since we are park hopping that day (Epcot later) we are not using any FP for AK. Our plan was to head straight to kilamanjaro safari ride and then see Mickey and Minnie, Pocohantas etc. how long are the lines for characters later in the morning? Thank you!

When are you going? We've seen lines for M&M anywhere from nothing to an hour, depending on the day. It is the only place you can see them together so they do have a bit of popularity
Pocohantas is rarely long as she's just about invisible, unless you are looking for her
