i am planning a "last minute" for Disney trip this October 11th-15th.
I read something about AK at night. Tree of light, evening safari, and a river light show. The hours say it closes at 7.
What are options for picking fast passes for these things?
I really know nothing about it at this point.

Any info.?

Tree of light there's no FP. It's just when the tree of life lights up

Evening safari is the Kilimanjaro safari and you book FP's just the same as you would during the day. Just pick a later time if you want the night ride

Rivers of lights is still not up and running but is rumored to be coming soon, possibly next month. When it debuts there will be a FP for it but not until it's officially announced and has a start date

I love it at night, the park is fairly empty except the area near the river when it's letting out after one of the shows (but doesn't last long). You can enjoy the park without the sun beating on you.. The street performers seem more active to me and it's great shows from them. night sarfari you want to get done before it's completely dark or it's just a bouncing truck that's almost impossible to see the animals. kali seems a little more exciting, everest is amazing at night, and dinoland is opened for that nighttime carinval feel and that ride. The rest of the park except for the night show is pretty much closed. only 1 quick service stays open until park close (restaurantasaurus near dinosaur/dinoland), most others are closed 2 hours early, some stands make it until 1 hour before close... The tree of life is fun. it's always lightly changing but about every 20ish-30 minutes it's a 5-10 minute projection show. a few of them, it's not like the other parks where it's scheduled, it goes off all night long so you don't need to wait around to see it, just stop by before you leave and enjoy it before you go.

With a family, you'll want to get there in the day as well for more attractions that don't stay opened at night.
