AK after hours event question

I just booked a last minute trip on April 1st and I want to attend the after hours event at AK that night. I was just approved for a new credit card that gives me 2x United mileage and I wanted to wait for the new card to arrive in the mail to put the charge for the event on, but I don’t want it to sell out while I’m waiting for the card. So my question is, do these events ever sell out and should I get my ticket asap? Or are there so many dates now that they don’t typically sell out? Thanks in advance!
