Aisle Runner

What kind of aisle runner do most people use? the cloth kind? or paper kind? I have heard bad things about using the paper kind...like your heels can get stuck on the paper and tear it and its hard to walk on? Any suggestions on where I can find a good one for a good deal? How long of an aisle runner would I need to the WP?

The dimensions for the Wedding Pavilion aisle are 90 inches wide by 54 feet from the door to the bottom step of the altar or 69 feet up the steps to the top of the altar.

I got a paper one from Michaels with a 40% off coupon for maybe like $14.99 or something, don't quite remember. It was 100' long. I cut it and embelished it with paints I had. It was a nice couple hour project with DH!

You would need a 75' one for the WP. I got the fabric kind from Ebay. I paid $20 for it and then personallized it myself for $10. I love how it came out.

Hi! I have the exact same aisle runner as you that I also bought from Michaels. (It's 100 ft long) I'd like to do my monogram close to the front of the wedding pavilion (near the first few pews). I'm just wondering if you know far into the aisle runner your monogram should be located to do something like this?? Is this where you had yours placed?? I would appreciate anyone's help and past experience with this!! THANKS so much!!

Originally I made one using the kind you get from the craft store but I didn't like it. Sooo... I ended up with a cloth runner. I'm really happy with it.
