Just booked return flight for our April '08 trip ...What does "Q" class mean???

I don't know ...but was it one of the 99 dollar discount flights? I flew on them over LDW with no problem(I did pay the $5 for assigned seats though). I was wondering about what happens if an Airtran flight gets cancled due to whatever...will they put you on another flight on another carrier? I am going in March and the NE is known for questionable weather.

Yes,it was the $99 fare and I also reserved our seats.I know exactly what you mean about the weather ,as I am also in NY!I certainly would hope that they would have some alternate plans for such situations!

Lot of guys from West Point on my flight 4 I think...so besure that you thake that into account too.

When are you going as I can't read the white writig under you ticker and just out of curiosity why should I be concerned about West Point... graduation or something else?

I would assume that if AirTran had to cancel a flight due to weather it's just that - cancelled. It stands to reason that if they can't go neither can the other airlines. They'll just put you on their next flight with available seating. As for other cancellations (mechanical, etc.) I don't THINK they have a relationship with another airline. If I'm wrong I hope someone will correct me as I'd like to know that information myself. I think it's the same procedure. They put you on the next available flight to your destination. I have heard that if there's another flight going to another airport that you'd be willing to take you can take that if there's room on the plane.

You have to take into consideration when West Point has their breaks (compitition will be stiff for tickets on those flights). I am going March 21-28th

I just checkerd WP's website and they are on break the week of 3/21-3/30 hopefully it won't effect your flight!
