I just found great rates from airtrain from Flint, Michigan to Orlando  . But, before booking them I want some opinions. Has anyone ever flown with them and what do you like/dislike? This will be the first time our 3 DD's have flown and it's been over 10 yrs since DH and I have flown so any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

We fly Air Tran from Dayton to Orlando all the time. It is a good airline with friendly attendants. Sometimes they do change their flight times so just keep checking with them.

I fly air tran from flint everytime I go to Orlando. The airport is small and very easy to get in and out of. I really like air tran. I usually take the non stop flights leaving flint at 7 am. The only time I have had delays have been weather related. The planes all seem new and very nice.

I travel a lot for business usin gother airlines and usually end up traveling Airtran for our trips out of Philadelphia. I think I have flown about 8-10 times since Mother's Day and the only flights that departed and arrived on time were our flights to Orlando for our vacation 8/12-9/20. It was very refreshing to be able to count on the air travel times. Granted, my experience with delays (some several hours) were mostly to blame on weather. I guess just bad timing on my part but very frustrating! Our family has always enjoyed Airtran - no thrills, decent prices, friendly employees, effecient and never lsot our luggage. Good Luck!

We fly Airtran out of Flint to WDW at least twice a year and love it. Never have had a problem, other then weather. I thought that I got a good deal for the end of Oct at $79.00 each way non-stop on Wed; today I see that if I had waited I could have got the non-stop each way for $49.00. Oh-well I still going to MNSSHP - can't wait.

If I can be of any help just write

We have used Air Tran before (from Flint to Orlando) and have reservations on October 3rd for Orlando..I've never had a problems yet..so far... :yay:

I just used Air Tran out of Pittsburgh. No problems. Flight times changed 3 times months before my trip each time got earlier so we got to Orlando earlier. Nice planes, no problems picking seats 24 hrs. before. Only small suggestion take your own headphones if you are giong to listen to XM radio service. Also of the 4 seats we had XM controls had some part of them broken. In all good service.

We have flown Airtran several times from Newport News, Virginia to Orlando. I really liked Airtran. I really like that they have satellite radion available on the plane. I would bring my own headphones.
