I know everyone has their opinion of Airtran, whether good or bad, but because we had to cancel my parents portion of our trip (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2276370) I called Airtran today to see what our options were with them. They gave us a full credit back for my parents flight! They totally waived the cancellation fee for us.

I have to use the credit in 12 months, but that's ok 'cause we're planning to go again when my dad is better.

The CSR was awesome & within 3 mins of talking to her manager we had a credit for $300 with them.

That's great.

We just returned from our trip to WDW and travelled with AirTran. We had no complaints at all.....well, crew on flight down never cracked a smile but I really don't care they were polite and other than getting a drink from them we had no interaction.

The ground agent at BUF that checked us in was super nice. We had to do counter check in because the kiosks were down and we were checking a bag that I was hoping to pay for with a voucher. She couldn't figure out how to apply the voucher as payment and they were in a pinch to close a flight so she very kindly asked me to pay for the bag and that she would get the supervisor to credit me back. I don't know if I was credited back but I don't care much as it was questionable that they would accept the voucher anyway. They did take it at MCO for my return so I'm happy with that.

We have travelled with them before and will again.

Good to know! I was going to bring the vouchers with me since we are only checking 1 bag.

We are planning on booking the bounceback offer when we're there for 2 rooms so my parents can go back again next year. My son is still young enough we can pull him out of school at that time, so next Sept here we come!

Good luck with the bounceback....we were not left a flyer in the room and when I asked about it they said there wasn't one this time. I asked 2 different CM's and got the same response.

It is odd since the details have been posted on the resort board. Perhaps it has to do with which resort you are at.

I'm actually taking a print out of the bounceback offer with me & gonna try to book it while we're down there from the flyer that was posted here.
