Have never used the resort to airline service where they print your boarding passes and get your luggage to the airport when you are leaving to go home. I have a couple of questions. We are staying at POR.
1) When do you let the concierge know if you are using this service?
2) When do they print your boarding passes and how do they get them to you? When do you get them?
3) If you have to pay a fee for your checked luggage (I know you do on Airtran), when do you pay it and to whom?
4) Can you have your luggage checked in with baggage services at the resort early the morning of departure and they will have it ready when you return for your magic express bus?
5) Does your luggage go on the magic express bus with you, or is it taken to the airport separately?

Ok, let me see if I can help.

First off, Resort Airline Check-in and Disney's Magical Express are seperate entities. You can use one and not the other.

If you use DME the day before you depart they will leave a envelope on your door, telling you your DME bus pick up time, and giving you the number to call to pay for any checked bags. That part is easy. You just call, tell them how many bags you are checking on what airline, and pay the baggage fee. The day you leave you take your bags to RAC desk at your resort. They check you into your flight, print your boarding passes, and take your checked bag from you. You will not see your bag again until you are home. You don't need to check in again at the airport, you can go straight to security and then to your gate.
