Airtran for July- did I miss the boat?

Looking for fares in July. They are having a sale that ends today. Unfortunately, the fare I wanted jumped up overnight by $50 which would be about a $300 increase overall. Bummer for me.

Here's my question: do you think Airtran will have another sale on July? I know there are no guarantees. I am just looking for your opinions.

Personally, I think the fare will come down again and I will need to check and watch carefully. I just don't want to make the mistake of not booking now at $300 more and having to pay $500 more later!

Thoughts? Any Airtran experts?

Last year Air Tran had a one day sale. I believe it was at the end of May. We planned on driving to St. Augustine FL in July but when I saw airfare dropped to $59 each way I jumped on it and called. The rep told me they did it to fill the plane. By time I got home from work 3 hours later the fare had jumped way back up. Keep watching!

I have been watching the fares for my son & GF, who hope to join us in July. They went from $89 to $143 overnight.

Air fares are crazy, you just never quite know what to do. I have been watching fares on Delta , checked Air Tran and been waiting on Jet Blue and SW since Feb for my Nov trip. Today the fares for Nov came out for JB and I decided to jump on them since they might go down but I think the possiblity of them going up is more likely and the stress of watching is too much, now at least I can relax. Hope you get lucky and get a good deal
