Airtran flight release vs Southwest?

I see this morning that Southwest released their flights for January, but Airtran's are not up yet. Any idea on how far between they have been in the past?

As mentioned on another thread, I was able to see flights for MDW-MCO on AirTran at least a couple days ago (and still am).

Little by little they are phasing out AirTran. Your city may have converted with this schedule release.

It depends on the city. With every schedule release, they are moving some cities to Southwest only. They are sending the AirTran 717 planes to Delta, 3 a month. Also painting the AirTran 737's to Southwest colors, plus Southwest is buying new 737's. By the end of next year, AirTran should be gone.
