Airtran Feb 2008?

Anyone know roughly when Airtran will start booking February 2008 flights?

I was able to book with Air Tran "one way" from Flint, Michigan to Orlando for February 13th....($99 one way) I keep checking twice a day to see when I can book coming back on the 18th..I'm glad that I did...Now, the one way is $185.00 for the time that we want to leave!

You mean for Feb 2008? If so, that's weird. I've tried one way and round trip for the same time frame, and it is still coming back saying "no flights available". This is out of Newbourgh, NY (Stewart).

February 13th is the last day that's available to book on AirTran's schedule currently.

I'm looking to get home from Ft Myers around the 22nd or 23rd of Feb, and am also playing the waiting game.

I don't remember when they released this time frame last year, sorry.

I called and spoke with a rep. He said that the 15th - 18th are blackout dates, and they are typically released later than the other dates. He suggested trying back in July/August.

I think I'll just be prepped for driving and then see if a better deal pops up (we flew to Tampa this year for $99 each way during Presidents week, and that was a last minute purchase).

Uh OH...What do you mean by "blackout dates"? Does that mean I shouldn't count on getting reasonable rates for coming back the 18th and should try to book with Orbit or somebody like that rather than waiting for February 18 flights to come out?
