In your experience, do Airtran fares fluctuate down or once they start going up they stay there?

I know they have the "web specials" but never from my home to MCO. The rate is good though. I didn't reserve when flight was $69 one way. Last week it went to $74. Today $84.

In that past I have always snagged the $69 0r $74. Trip is now under 8 weeks out.

Opinions? Should I grab the $84 before it goes up more? Or have you seen them decrease and think I should wait?

I would grab the fares now, because Airtran will credit you the difference if the fares drop (a credit on your account, which you can then use for checked baggage fees or seat assignments)

I grabbed our reservations on Friday, and was so glad I did, as it went up $19 per person the next day!
