Airtran Coupon and Luggage ?

I just read the thread about the $10 coupon for Airtran (thank you, thank you ), and since we already booked and paid for our seats, I would like to use the coupons to pay for luggage. I realize that we can only use 1 per leg of the trip, but do I do this online before we go or can I use it at the airport when we check luggage?

If I remember correctly you can only use a credit or coupon for luggage in person at the airport. At least that is the way it was for us in December.
