Airtran boarding procedure

I was thinking about changing our seats also, and wanted to make sure I was reading this right, they only charge you the difference on price between what you already bought and what you are changing too? Also, does anyone know if they charge to just change rows within your same price?

That is what they charged me when I changed our seats. I had already paid $6, so I had to pay the difference. Also when I was looking at changing our seats, it appeared as if we could just changed rows if we wanted and if the seats were the same price, then there wouldn't of been a charge. So I say yes, you can change rows.

Thank you!

According to seatguru.com, Airtran uses a rotating boarding procedure.... I for the life of me, can't recall what exactly they did the last time I flew them (I have flown so many different airlines over the last 5-6 years).

They've apparently done away with that (probably for a while?)

It's purely back to front after Business Class (and those needing assistance) board.
