AirTran and ATA Sales Listed in Today's Paper

In our Sunday Record today, 2 separate ads for AirTran and ATA sales.

AirTran: For travel through 5/21 (or 2/12 if traveling to Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Laud., Miami or Ft. Meyers). Must buy tickets by 1/17. Book online and save $5 more. Shows one way fares out of Newark for $70 to Orlando. www.airtran.com


ATA: Buy tickets by 1/14, and travel between 1/9 and 4/30. Buy online, and buy 3 tickets, get one free. (For this offer must fly between 12/26/01-6/30/02). www.ata.com

This was also in our Minneapolis paper. I looked online and neither one came up with the prices listed in the paper. Both of them came up over $200.00. I tried different ways and nothing. If anyone else comes up with the prices listed, let me know your stradegy.

One thing to keep in mind is the fine print. ATA is usually off peak travel times. Most fares on ATA don't work for me particulary for the days that we fly which are usually Friday - Sunday which are peak days for ATA. I hope this helps.
