Airtours/Thomas Cook Standard/Exec Villas - Kissimmee

has anyone booked this option with thomas cook or airtours??
what was the resort/villa like??

We booked a villa with Thomas cook last summer. The villa was located in Southern Dunes off highway 27. Some say that this villa location is a bit too far away from everything but this was out second time staying on Southern Dunes. For us it's great. It's a gated community with a huge walmart just at the end off the gated community. The villa itself was lovely not too OTT and perfect for excited children (i say this because we have stayed in a few were we have been worried sick that the children would accidentally knock something over) You might not be on Southern Dunes. You might already know where your villa is located? When we arrived we had to pick the keys up from a villa rental agency on the 192. Here we had to sign a few forms and leave a credit card imprint in case we damaged anything. This was the only time we went to the agency when we checked out we left the keys in a safety deposit box outside the villa Everything was straight forward.

we stayed at southern dunes last year (which we loved!!) we knew we were going to be there, but this year its kind of "named on arrival" and all we know is its in kissimmee?!?!? so not quite sure what to expect ie what area/resorts they use in Kissimmee?

ours was named on arrival last year and we are doing it this year. All we know is it will be around 15 minutes from disney. I guess we fell lucky last year with Southern Dunes. My husband has told me to ask for the same villa community when we arrive at the villa agency but i would imagine we will have already been allocated a villa, but it's worth a try. This year we are with virgin and not Thomas cook.
