Have not been on the boards since last years holiday.

We're trying to get flights to go just before Easter but there isn't much availability. We keep being offered Airtours flights.

I've done a search and can see that a few people were travelling with them last year, and asked questions about the flights. Are any of you people on the boards now and can comment on the Airtours flight? Any info would be appreciated.

Also what sort of weather can we expect (have previously been in June, August and September)?

we flew with Airtours in 2001 and would quite happily fly with them again. The flight was fine, decent food from what I remember and seat back tvs with a choice of films.

since they are one of the few airlines that fly direct from Newcastle, we will probably fly with them again.

The airtours flight is a pretty comfortable flight, food is the usual quality . but the seat back tv makes flight fly in (lol).

We've flown a few times with Airtours/My travel. The flight is ok. My flight in Dec 2001 did not have the seat back TV's. Just be careful when you book, they tried to charge me £15 per person for the inflight meal.

As Bev has said they are one of the few direct flights out of NCL, would fly with them again only if the price was right.

I have not been in April, but friends of ours have and they say that the weather was really nice.

Weather should be lovely at Easter. I envy you! And Airtours operate good, modern planes on that route, with seatback TVs now standard, so it should make for a comfortable flight, even in economy.
