I always forget this, the laptop goes in its own bin, right? And the cord, wires etc, in a big baggie or out? We'll be going through this in about 18 hrs.

Thanks,

I put the laptop in its own bin (don't remember if you still have to keep in separate). All my cords stay in the carry bag. (in my case a backpack). The backpack also carries camera charger and some extra USB cables. I never take the cables out.

This. When traveling for work I took the laptop in my backpack that had the cords/mouse/charger and other misc. carry on junk. Laptop got its own bin and the backpack went solo.

Thanks for the replies, we fly once or twice a year so this hasn't become a habit yet.
