airport to DLPR?

Are there only the 2 of you going?
If so, the VEA shuttle costs 16 euro per adult each way, regardless of which time of the day, or day of the week, you use it.

The other option is the TGV high-speed train. Fares for this start at around £11 per adult each way, but fares vary depending on which time of the day you'll be using the train (ie peak fares cost more).

There are links to both these modes of transport on the "useful information" sticky on this forum.

Hope this helps,

Elaine

As Elaine says both VEA and TGV will be much cheaper than going by taxi and private shuttle. These work out much better and/or more convenient for families :)

We travelled back from DLRP to CDG by TGV. It was 14.00 euro per adult and 7.50euro per child. Only 10 minutes and it is the first stop from DLRP.

Take a look at www.sncf.com. Search the time table for the time you land, but give yourself time to get to the station which is located between terminal 2c/d and 2e/f.

Also take a look at www.easycdg.com. This is all about CDG Airport. If you are not sure what terminal you fly into this website will tell you.

We couldn't get a train from CDG because while we were in the queue, staff came up, asked us where we were going and they said no trains, all full. We believe that they were just trying to shorten the queue. Would def go by TGV next time.

hi,
i am flying in to CDG on bmi and my flight arrives at 9.20am.

i few days ago i booked the TGV to leave the airport at 10.28.

So i have 1 hour and 8 minutes to get off the plane (providing its on time!) through security, pick up a suitcase and to the TGV station (already have tickets in hand).

So you think that this is a bit optimistic??!? well its booked now anyway, but i would liek to hear your thoughts!

I usually get that flight myself to CDG - the 10.28 TGV gives you plenty of time to get there and get on board from terminal 1, so long as your flight is not too much delayed.

It took me only about 20 minutes to do it in reverse (ie TGV station at terminal 2, then CDGval internal train between terminals to terminal 1).
