I found this on a news story about a new service at a Melbourne, Australia airport. They are beginning a new service where guests with hidden disabilities can get a distinctive lanyard to help staff see they may need extra assistance. In the news story, they mentioned a Social Story for travel.
The pictures and some of the text may only be appropriate for the Melbourne airport, but there is a lot of good general information about airports and preparing for sights and sounds in the airport.

Yes.
A story about London was where I saw it first, but I forgot to copy the link at the time. Then the Melbourne story came up.

Unfortunately, this is through one organization, and only on one specific day, but there are events in the US for individuals who have autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities can walk through what it's like to go through the airport. I wish this were something someone could just schedule for themselves, but this is a step in the right direction, at least. https://thearc.org/our-initiatives/travel/

While looking for the information for this program, I found another social story that also talks abut the plane itself. It doesn't go into as much detail about the airport as the first one did. https://www.autismspeaks.org/sites/default/files/2018-09/A Guide to the Airport Experience.pdf
