I found this on a news story about a new service at a Melbourne, Australia airport. They are beginning a new service where guests with hidden disabilities can get a distinctive lanyard to help staff see they may need extra assistance. In the news story, they mentioned a Social Story for travel.
The pictures and some of the text may only be appropriate for the Melbourne airport, but there is a lot of good general information about airports and preparing for sights and sounds in the airport.
