I posted this on another board, but wanted your advice - we're thinking of taking the boys Gamecube with us - in our carry-on bag..what happens if security wants us to turn it on...

We've been asked to turn on the GameBoys, cameras and cell phones before, but obviously, these are all battery operated...any experience/suggestions..??

TIA!!:sunny:

Make sure your power cable is with it. They must have an outlet nearby for something.

mbb,

I am a pre-board screener here in Calgary. For about a year and a half now, passengers are no longer required to turn on their electronics. We now have a machine that detects explosive material and the gamecube will more than likely be "swabbed" as we call it. They will (should) ask you to remove it from the bag as it is difficult to see through those kind of electronicson the x-ray machine, but you shouldn't have any problems!

The kids will be so happy...and so will we!!:D
