airport parking question

Last time we went to the world, we did the park sleep fly option out of Kansas City. I am tring to save some money and thought we would part at the airport this time, never left my car at a airport car lot, will it be okay. I will be saving around $40, I can put to caring for our dog while we are gone. What do you disners think?

We live about 25 minutes from our local airport and always park there. It's so close it's not worth it to do park, sleep, fly option. Our local airport is Newark I've never had any problems with my car being left there. And Newark is not the best city!

We fly out of Detroit and park our car at airport parking all the time. Never is there a problem. The lot is pretty well watched over and stealing cars out of airport parking lots are usually not a good idea (seeing you have to pay for the parking when you leave the garage )
