We finally got our docs for our Aug 3 western cruise on the Magic and see that we will be spending Friday night at the Airport Hyatt Regency. Will anyone who has stayed at this hotel let me know what to expect? (It sounds like everyone else will be at the Raddison.) I would really appreciate any information.
Thanks,
Cat

Cat, it's a GREAT hotel that is right IN the airport - the ultimate in convenience. :) You will simply collect your bags from baggage claim and head to the lobby of the hotel to check in. They'll give you instructions for your bags if you are using Disney transfers to get to the port the next morning.

Enjoy! :D

Cat, we stayed at the Airport Hyatt for our 5/18 Eastern cruise. As previous posted mentioned, it is right in the airport, just collect your bags and go to hotel check-in. If you're doing Disney transfers they'll provide you with an envelope giving you instructions for transportation the next morning. There are a lot of restaurants you can choose from to dine in at the airport that evening or the next morning. My brother and his family arrived much earlier than us and ate at Chilis. We ate at the restaurant there in the hotel and it was fabulous!! Enjoy your cruise!!

I just reserved a room there for December 14, night before our cruise. We are not using Disney transfers at this time, but might be later. Booking the MCO Hyatt for convenience more than anything. DW is coming in from Atlanta and I'm coming in from Hawaii, so figure its easier to stay there in case our flights get delayed or we having any problems connecting. I'm getting in to MCO in the evening and figured I'd avoid the hassle of a shuttle and what not after my long flight ..

You will love it. It prepares you for the pampering you will get on the ship. We have stayed there for our last 3 DCL cruises and we will again next Spring Break on our next DCL cruise. I would guess most of our floor were DCL cruises last Spring Break. Everything went smooth and we were on board the ship by 1:00 pm. Disney does know how to move crowds of people. Kathy
