Airport Hotels.....?

We have decided to extend our trip by one more day, flights were WAY cheaper this way. As a result we are going to check out of our Disney Resort on our last full day, spend the day in the MK and then head to an airport hotel late night and take a flight out first thing in the morning. I am looking into the Quality Inn Airport and was wondering if anyone has heard anything horrific. My husband is worried about some horror story happening with bugs or something like that...I appreciate anything you might have to offer or if you could recommend another inexpensive hotel near orlando international airport.

We've stayed at the:

Hyatt Airport - Best, especially for an early morning flight.

Renaissance - Good

Holiday Inn - Eh

You could do a Priceline or Hotwire bid to try to get a cheaper price. I wouldn't try for anything less than a 3* but that's just me.

We have pricelined three times and got the Marriott Renaissance twice and the Hyatt in the airport once. Also used my Hilton points to stay one night at the airport Embassy Suites. All were great hotels. Both the Renaissance and Embassy Suites have free airport shuttles.

If you do priceline or hotwire, just do your research first and bid the level you are comfortable with.
