Does anyone have recent experience with seat selection on airlines like JetBlue or Delta? They charge extra to pick a seat, but with so many rules because of Covid, I am wondering if any of that has changed. They block middle seats unless you are a family together, but what if you are more than 3 people? In my case I have little kids, so one of us may sit with both kids and the other in the row front or back of that. OR can we pick 2 separate rows because of seat blocking and just be 2 and 2???

We flew with 4 on Delta. Picked two rows so we sat 2 and 2 to avoid having to sit next to a stranger.

Thank you! I actually asked them and they confirmed I could do that. Sounds like a better idea!

This is how we are set up for our Christmas flights. Family of 4, sitting 2 and 2 in the same row :)
