DD is leaving this Saturday for Orlando on AA....she has a 1 year old and needs to know what exactly she can take on the plane with her. We had heard that the restrictions have lightened up a small bit...is that so?
She was hoping to take his sippy cup with water, cheese crackers and cheerios. Can she? Or will she need to buy these things after she goes through security? Thank you in advance.....Barb

means that all liquids brought from the outside must be 3 oz. or less and in the requisite bag. Once you go through security, you can buy and board with any liquids you want. So in other words, you could buy any size of bottled water and/or juice and/or milk from any outlet PAST security. However, if you leave the secure area with, say, a bottle of water purchased in the secure area, when you try to go through security again they will not allow you to re-enter the secure area with the bottle of water you'd just bought inside there a few minutes earlier -- since it left the area, that bottle is no longer considered safe to bring on the airplane/take into the secure area.
