O.k.....just emailed Airmiles again and this was there response:
"For the Disneyland, CA Promotion, you always get 2 more days free, no matter how many days are selected for this Reward.
So, if you redeem for a 5 Day Base Ticket, it does expire on September 30, 2010.
Only the 5 Day-All Inclusive Ticket for Disney World, FL has no expiry date. This one costs more AIR MILES® reward miles too.
I hope this helps and I apologize for any confusion caused. Put simply, Disneyland, CA and Disney World, FL offer two very different Promotions."
NOW I'm thoroughly confused!
ETA: After sending several emails back and forth, it appears they thought I meant that Disney tickets in general never expire, which was not the question I was asking. He did say specifically that the Disneyland ticket would expire in Sept/10 but made no mention the Disney World one would. Geesh, that's all I was asking in the first place! Grrrrrr......
What I have noticed with AirMiles is that the Disneyland and SeaWorld tickets have an expiry date when you go into Terms and Conditions but the Disneyworld and Universal tickets do not have an expiry date.
It makes Disneyworld and Universal more attractive to redeem for because you don't have to worry about the tickets expiring before you use them. I wanted to order a SeaWorld ticket for my mom for our trip in November but the tickets available to get expire in October so I will have to wait to see if they get November tickets. It is very confusing and kind of frustrating so I share your pain.
And the information that they sent you correcting their original information is incorrect because it is a 5 day base ticket for Disneyworld that is on sale - not the 5 day all inclusive. The base ticket is good for 14 days from the first day of use so you can redeem for it and use it next year.
