Airmiles park tickets question

Hello,

Just wondering if it's possible to put tickets you get from airmiles on a magic band.

Also, if you get your park tickets via airmiles, but are staying at a WDW hotel, will you still get the magic bands for free? or would you need to pay the $12.95 for them?

And finally, can you use the airmiles park tickets ahead of time on the disney site to prebook things like fastpass+?

Anyone staying at a WDW resort gets a magic band regardless of where the tickets are.

They do not mail the magic bands to Canada so you would get them at check-in.

You can link your passes to your reservation and make your FP+ reservations before you leave home.

You link them to your MDE before you go. The band will be ready and linked to the MDE at check in. You do not need to link your band to anything.

Just link the Air Mile tickets to MDE and make your FP+ before you leave home.

If you figure out how to link your Air Miles Passes on MDE can you post the directions here please? I have tried every which way to link mine and so far I haven't been successful
