Airmiles...BOOOOOO

So last time we went I used my airmiles points to get 4 of us admission to Universal Studios. ONly had to pay the cab ride.

The rates went up a bit, so I was able to get 3 of our 4 admissions.....and now that I have enough for the 4th, they aren't doing the 1 day admission anymore. BOOOO!!!!!

Most frustrating: i had the points 3 weeks ago and FORGOT TO DO THE PASS so for all I know it was still valid a few weeks ago.

GRUMBLE!

Ok so plan 2: Where can I get a cheap or reduced entrance fee for Universal Studios?

Not sure if its any consolation, but I ordered my boss's Universal tickets with his airmiles about a month ago (maybe slightly more...perhaps 6 weeks?) and they only had the two day, park to park tickets at that point. Was just over 3000 airmiles for two adult passes.

Wow! So glad I got mine a couple months ago, it was 4900 points for 4 of us for the 2 ticket park to park then!

Are they not doing them or are they just not there right now? Sometimes, when they are out of tickets, they take them off the site until more come in.

If you happen to have Petro-points they can be converted to CAA dollars and then you can pirchase the 1 ticket you need at CAA with those dollars. I did that from advice given on these boards a few years ago BUT check and make sure if they still convert first.

I would call and ask Airmiles. Sometimes they are just out of stock. That happened to us last year, we just had to wait a week or two for them to restock.

I didn't try ordering it so I'm not sure if its an error or not. But I was just on my air miles app 5 minutes ago and it has an option for a 1 day pass for 600 points.

Yes they used to have 1 day with it...but not more

We bought 3 day park to park tickets thru Undercover Tourist. It was cheaper then going thru Universal.
