I remembered to fill up! Got 20 cents off per litre with the CAA and AM stacking, so that was nice, but would have been better at the end of the day. I put in 40 L so earned back 4 AM. Good enough. And a full tank of gas!

I also got gas today and somehow got 20 cents off. I do not have my CAA attached so . I opted for the cheap gas over just the 30L top up. That is only the second fill for this month and a third is not happening.

Receipts....can they PLEASE stop with the freakin' tic tacs and Kinder chocolate. How about some real food and more offers.

Amazon.....do I read this right, all I have to do (yes, I opted in) is spend $20 on anything? Not the normal eligible stuff?

OT....little update.

Yesterday DD's ship was docked next to the Magic. So she got to go and spend the morning over across on the Magic. She is absolutely floored at how much smaller it is. She said the atrium is so small she can't imagine how it's even possible to do any of the deck shows in there...this happens when the weather does not allow then to perform outdoors.

They have a date scheduled to be in port with the Treasure in November. Hopefully they will be able to go and visit there as well. They were in rehearsals with that cast so they would like to be able to see those friends but also tour the ship. So cool to be on a ship with no guest. BTW...the Treasure was officially delivered to DCL today.

In the new year they will be docking with the Wish too. DD has a few friends on that ship and will be booking some time off to visit with them. I think will be very interesting seeing the Treasure before the Wish.

And in my house, we are only 36 days away from our cruise and 34 days until we head to FL. DD has submitted her papers so that she can 'fraternize' with us. I opted to book a WDW resort (got a slammin' deal through Priceline) so that we can take the bus to the port. I need to call and book that. I need to start making my door decor and get my luggage out. LOL...DD says she has 'tons' of stuff for us to bring home for her. Um, I don't know where she thinks that is going to fit in my luggage. She told me to bring an empty suitcase, which is not happening. Best I can do is an extra carry on and backpack....normally we would do one of each between the two of us. AND...why does she have that much extra stuff?

It's hard for me to do stuff for the Food Drive,,,
no can stuff ,,tuna ,soups, stew, spaghetti sauce , vegetables, can milk etc
no box stuff.... hot oatmeal, cereals, crackers, melba toast, pasta, granola bars, popcorn etc
And no cookies ,,what's up with that?

I will say, the Magic was my first cruise and I absolutely love her. She is smaller, for sure, but has a quietness about her. Disney but nothing to fancy. I hate that they put the AquaDunk on it. But, that's nostalgia for you. Since she left Port Canaveral we have not been on her. The Fantasy took over seven night sailings so what are you going to do? She is every bit as nice but certainly busier. I hope your DD is enjoying it to the fullest. She'll be so happy to see you.
We leave for Punta Cana in 24 days, I need to get organized and do some packing. I still need to check and see what I have left over from the summer for sunscreen. Should pick up some bug spray as well.

Update on shell gas...it let me fill over 50l yesterday...we have a minivan so put in 60l and had full discount ...good to know for next time

For those who are interested, Epic Universe / UOR tickets are available on the air miles website now. For example:

Sept 17, 2025 - 2 parks, 4 days, park to park, PLUS 1 day at Epic Universe = $599.60 or 5,996 air miles / per adult

We are going in Feb 2026, so waiting until they release more packages where I can visit Epic more than once.

Since I don't have amazon prime, I still have to order $35+ worth of stuff for free shipping. I will likely get DD16 some press-on nail stuff she wants for Christmas. The way I see it, even if I wait until a 20x or even 40x offer, 100 miles will still be more for the same cost of the items.

So far I've done orders on two cards. Powdered pumpkin for the dog and bulk birthday cards. Mega Blocks for Christmas for the grandson. DH has some things he wants so that can go on the 3rd card.
