Valid at participating Metro locations in Ontario (excluding Thunder Bay).
I just checked and my son's account (gold) and he does not have the offer .

They have moved to more and more targeted offers which makes it extremely difficult to track and impossible to compare. If you look at the small print in several offers they state "This offer is exclusive and non-transferrable"

I don't have the Metro one on either of the cards and I'm assuming that's because Metro is my usual store and we rarely walk out without spending at least $100+ so there's no reason for them to incite us to shop.

SIDE NOTE for everyone - since these offers are exclusive it's imperative that you take screenshots and/or keep any emails you've received in case you need to chase it down later. It's highly unlikely you'll be able to ask anyone else what you should have post to your account.

Good thing I did check my sons account.
I did the Dollarama one for him the other day but when I checked today I forgot to OPT In and he wouldn't have gotten the 100 Airmiles... all is good because I will just get next weeks coffee cards today.

I am not a big shopper at Metro so this is definitely to try and entice me to spend more.
With stock up I might be able to do 2 x 50$ spends but that's it.
One son is away for Thanksgiving (Costa Rica) so we are going to celebrate this weekend ,,,hmmm that may up my spend limit too.
Cashmere TP is 3.99 starting tomorrow.
I did like the hot Rigatoni and meat sauce I bought last night. $7

I did a $150 airmilesshop before school started back up and the 150 AM finally posted!

glad I won't have to chase that one down.

My Metro offer is spend $150 get 150 AM, which I can do, will have to get some stuff for the freezer or cupboards to stock up, but that saves me later.

Ha! I got it too. I totally forgot about that one. I couldn't figure it out. Mainly because I did a big RW&Co purchase of $180+ but then I returned to things so it was $66+. They didn't claw back my initial returned air miles. So I guess I lucked out (for now) with the bonus miles sticking.

so 90 Airmiles for a $50 spend.

Disney GC question
One of my Disney Gift cards appears to be somewhat paper in design. The scratch gently to reveal pin did not work and now I don't have a pin number to attach card to main card.
Any ideas as to how to resolve this?

Got home and went racing off to Dollarama. Picked up a GC and some rubber gloves. Got home with an hour to spare.

I was asked at the border to produce all my receipts for my US purchases. I've never had that happen before. The border guard looked them over and commented about how organized they were and we were on our way.

With that dollarama offer, I was pleasantly surprised that they had Petsmart gift cards! That is where I shop, so I didn’t have to needlessly spent to get 100 miles. Love it when that happens.

I bought a Disney toque, bucket hat and a kids t-shirt and oh and bunch of other stuff for me. I wondered that myself.
My car is half full as well. DH is going to take the gas can over and fill it at the same time. Might as well get ready for the snow plowing.

Oh I didn't know that! I wonder if we could be cashing in these Gift Cards / AM deals there?

I don't usually shop at Shell, so I never pay attention to the deals posted here or any chatter about the app (as I have Native status so I shop at -whatever it's actually called now- Treaty gas on Caldwell). But for in-store bonuses I'd also love to know if we can take advantage at that location! If you every try and it works, please let me know!

You could always call MC and talk with them about this. I used to do that for clients and it was a 50/50 chance they would apply the offer. Mostly they did it, not sure if it was because I was calling from BMO on behave of the client and had some status but it's worth a try. I wouldn't give up on it just yet.

Thank you for the suggestion and past experience. I have called MC twice regarding this and they just had sympathy but confirmed I upgraded and didn't apply for a brand new account. We think that means I don't qualify.

However, I did just decide to begin banking with BMO again. They were my primary bank, then we switched to hubby's bank when they offered us a better mortgage rate and BMO was beginning to dry up for AM. They have a new client offer for AM, so maybe once I've established a bit of a customer presense there, I'll ask if they can look at the elite AM bonus too. Thanks!
